Punk History Canada

Photocopy Flashbacks

For a young fan of Canadian punk way back in the day, there was nothing like passing by a low-fi photo copy announcing the arrival date of your favorite acts. Gig posters back then was our internet and what surely must be considered crude application by todays Graphic Design standards was and still is looked upon as treasured pieces of art to some.

Punk History Canada is a great site that allows those that remember and were there, to share these fantastic pieces of forgotten art and memories.

This site is dedicated to honor the years of 1977-1987, which in our opinion were the formative years of punk rock in Canada. We want to chronicle everyone from the greats to the unknowns who waved the flag of punk rock in Canada and to those who supported them. To all those who drank all our beer, ate all our food and who slept on our couches, beds and even in our bathtubs......this site is for YOU!!
