The first of its kind, CA Boom will reinvent the "trade" show as we know it. CA Boom is not a fantasy designer home show, a do-it-yourself fair, or a private design conference; it is an event for everyone who is passionate about contemporary design. While there will be traditional trade show-like exhibits with the opportunity for professionals and consumers alike to view new resources, this is where the similarities end and the new open dialogue begins. Any given city’s design center is traditionally exclusively open to the trade, a practice that panders to traditional design houses yet leaves out some of the best boutique manufacturers, designer retailers, architectural and landscape professionals. CA Boom encourages a more democratic dialogue. CA Boom is a trade fair and festival of design combined in to one. CA Boom is equally for “trade” to discover new contract and wholesale resources as well a market place to empower the discerning consumer of contemporary design discover the best contemporary design resources, products, and services.
