The bold look of Kohler

Kohler and the arts: the Arts/Industry program
We think that Kohler makes some pretty nicely designed products, but this just leaves us speechless.

This is absolutely the ugliest toilet I've ever seen. Is there a death penalty for bad taste?

oooh dear...its enough to give you nightmares for a week and it looks bloody uncomfortable to boot. the only plus to this hideous toilet would be that the time spent with the newspaper while procrastinating over ones' early morning ablutions would be cut to a minimum.

Please check this link to see what this toilet is about.

Kohler has one of the most amazing Artists-In-Residence Programs in the world. The work pictured is part of an exhibit. See this link:

supporting the arts

I find it stunning what Kohler has accomplished here. I'm mean, *I* wouldn't want to clean the thing never mind defile it in the first place. Still, one can easily imagine small circles of party guests sharing their reluctant wonderment with "the loo". The one thing everyone at a party touches (I'm not certain everyone's washing hands) is the same thing no one talks about. It's a deviant litle piece of porcelain, that's for sure.

interesting, but its not totally useful
Posted by SP on 1/18/2006 2:20:00 AM

Can you actually use it? Cleaning this thing needs one of a art skills too...and after a year when all urine residue is gathered in thin gaps would make this beauty smell like beast...lol

The Boss fires you. You take your 401 K...buy a toilet, and go into denial.

a cleaning nightmare?

I can't even begin to imagine the clean up if my son (a bad aim) ever tried using this toilet.

All roses have thorns, so this would hurt to sit on. Granted, one must make certain sacrifices for beauty and fashion, but this just hurts to look at.
